Scott Willis is a proud Westfield resident and current Westfield City Councilor. His deep passion and vision for Westfield is displayed through his community-focused work. From day one as a City Councilor, Scott has committed to diversifying Westfield’s tax base, identifying new businesses and jobs, being fiscally responsible, and strategically growing the city. As a decorated U.S. Marine Colonel, successful businessman, and 19-year Westfield resident, Scott has brought a new and unique voice to the council.
In the corporate world, Scott is a successful entrepreneur. He founded an executive search firm and began a second company that focuses on commercial real estate.
Scott currently serves on the Westfield Public Library board, the Westfield YMCA steering committee, the President’s Council for Purdue University, is the past Chairman of the Westfield GOP Club, and is involved in several Veteran organizations including the VFW, American Legion, and Marine Corps League. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors for the Marine Foundation and Operation Job Ready Veterans, a non for profit organization focused on supporting veterans transitioning from the military to Corporate America. Involvement in other organizations include: Rotary Club, Freemason – Noblesville Lodge #57 and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
Scott and his wife Stacey have three children -- Sophia, Brenna, and Graden, all Westfield Schools students. Scott and Stacey have always emphasized to their children the values of never quitting and giving everything your best effort.
Scott learned from his grandfather at an early age that personal connections matter and there is always an opportunity to make a difference. Scott takes those life lessons to heart. Whether it’s as a Marine, successful entrepreneur, or family man, Scott is exceptional at leading teams and accomplishing extraordinary goals.
